In this collection box you will find smaller blocks and sections which, due to their length, are no longer suitable for the production of knife handle blocks or pen blanks but are otherwise ideal for the production of smaller decorative pieces. It is too time-consuming and uneconomical for us to process each small block and place it in the store. The pieces are far more substantial than the usual goldsmith boxes. All pieces are coated with wax on the surface.

The common resin tree (Ozoroa paniculosa) is a member of the mango family. The tree is mainly present in South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Botswana and grows up to 20 feet tall at higher altitudes, but can reach almost 50 feet in lower-lying, warmer regions.
The wood is very hard and dense and can have a very pretty grain with an orange to red color. It is good to work with and polish.
