Precious wood of the month: Chechen Burl - 10% discount

In our special offer in March, you can look forward to 10% off Chechen Burl! The offer is valid for the entire category, while stocks last.

Chechen (Metopium brownei) comes from the tropical forests of Mexico, Cuba, Guatemala, Jamaica, Belize, and the Dominican Republic. It is also known as Caribbean rosewood or black poisonwood, reflecting the skin irritant released by the tree’s fresh bark. However, the wood is unproblematic.
The wood is hard and dense with a color that can vary greatly from brown to red and intermediate shades. Its texture can also differ from very fine to relatively coarse. It is used to make furniture, in turning, and as hardwood flooring.
